Problem

There is no sound from my Radio.

What to do

Check that the volume is not set to the minimum.

Make sure that the radio has been able to locate DAB/FM stations.

Problem

The display shows ‘NO DAB STATION’ in DAB mode.

What to do

Make sure that DAB coverage exists in your area.

Try adjusting the position of the aerial or location of the radio.

Problem

Poor reception.

What to do

As with any radio service, there will be areas of weak signal that may cause poor reception.

Follow the instructions for Manual Tuning on 4.4, point 6 and adjust the aerial while monitoring the signal strength until the optimum signal is obtained. If reception is still poor, try re-locating the radio to another part of the room.

Problem

I cannot access secondary services.

What to do

At the time of publishing this manual not many secondary services are available in the UK.

This will increase as more DAB stations start broadcasting. If a secondary service station is available, the secondary indicator ‘>>’ will be displayed next to the station name.

Problem

Some of the buttons on the DAB Digital Radio are not

working.

What to do

This may be caused by electrostatic discharge.

Turn the DAB Digital Radio off, disconnect the mains plug and reconnect after a few seconds.

Fejlfinding

Problem

Der er ingen lyd på radioen.

Løsning

Kontrollér, at lydstyrken ikke er skruet helt ned.

Kontrollér, at radioen har været i stand til at finde DAB-/FM-stationer.

Problem

Displayet viser ‘NO DAB STATION’ (INGEN DAB-STATION) i DAB-tilstand.

Løsning

Kontrollér, at der er DAB-dækning i dit område.

Prøv at justere antennen eller flytte radioen.

Problem

Dårlig modtagelse.

Løsning

Som med andre radiotjenester vil der være områder med svagt signal, der kan give dårlig modtagelse.

Følg anvisningerne om manuel tuning i afsnit 4.4, punkt 6, og justér antennen, mens du følger signalstyrken, indtil det bedste mulige signal modtages. Hvis modtagelsen stadig er dårlig, kan du prøve at flytte radioen til et andet sted i rummet.

Problem

Jeg har ikke adgang til sekundære tjenester.

Løsning

På tidspunktet for udgivelsen af denne vejledning findes der ikke mange sekundære tjenester i Danmark.

Antallet vil øges, efterhånden som flere DAB-stationer begynder at sende. Hvis en sekundær tjeneste er tilgængelig, vises indikatoren ‘>>’ ved siden af stationsnavnet.

Problem

Nogle af knapperne på radioen virker ikke.

Løsning

Det kan skyldes elektrostatisk udladning.

Sluk for radioen, træk stikket til elnettet ud, og sæt det i igen efter nogle sekunder.
